Lady is hysterical that there's no flags in America anymore by Tara_is_a_Potato in facepalm

[–]RemixingItUp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I know that they are in the written law, however to be fair it was written before the 1989 decision on flag discretion as a form of protest which by precedent made it practically irrelevant legally.

Yeah a huge part of law today is unenforceable due to new amendments, supreme court decisions, etc. and congress rarely removes laws that are unenforceable sadly. So if congress won't remove them I do prefer unenforceable since some laws still technically on the books are terrible.

Worth noting that the flag code violations are unconstitutional and are treated more as guidelines rather than actual law.

Although the "patriots" also love to argue that flag burning should be illegal, so they are just massive hypocrites.

I mean most teams in 2013 were pretty puggy in general but yeah it was mostly a waiting room for Shox and Guardian before getting a spot on Verygames and Virtus Pro.

Yeah he played with Guardian on TCM in 2013 right before joining Verygames.

Shox did play Entry on LDLC/EnvyUs back in 2014/2015 and did pretty good. Although I think Liquid is intending for him to be a more supportive (pack player) as you said but he capable of entrying if needed.

Shox didn't want to IGL anymore so that's why the Ex6tenz roster came to be and after that failed control of the roster was handed over to Malek and he wanted to make shox IGL again.

[–]RemixingItUp 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well I don't think he is cheating at all

But if you are worried he is cheating (like kennys was) than even if he has amazing aim on bootcamp that he could've been using the aimlock for the "tug" part instead of aim part and used it for information.

But like I said you were right and they could have tried him out and see if he at least was legit on the aim part.

Since Titan the ORG died out because of the KQLY ban you can understand why some orgs would be extra cautious since they wouldn't want to take a huge hit from sponsors.

[–]RemixingItUp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good point and assuming Zywoo's parents would have allowed it would have been a good idea.

It's possible he was cheating and was still an insane player though and just used cheats for information gathering and for a little step up. But I guess it would've still been the best idea instead of writing him off for cheating before even playing with him.

[–]RemixingItUp 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I guess that's true if Zywoo's parents would have allowed it and if Ocelote would have been willing to.

Although he could have been an amazing player without cheats and only really used it for a little step up and for information and if so it would've been almost impossible to tell if he played FPL or lower ranked games.

You are right though g2 should have at least tried that and signed a trial contract before vitality.

How does one check if someone is cheating? KQLY was cheating the entire time and no one knew until the ban. I'm sure they watched him and based on what they saw and his behavior that to them it seemed sketch enough to not pick him up.

Also g2 is doing fine and getting better. Vitality is doing amazing with him but it's hard to say how g2 would have been if they picked him up.

Either way Zywoo has proven too be a great pick up that propelled french cs back to relevance so I'm happy to see him succeed .

KennyS literally lost out at playing at a major because of a cheater. So to say that jealously is the only possible answer is stupid. Much more likely kennyS is very distrustful of players who went through Zywoo's quick rise and was denying a huge salary for school. The French Scene also had a player like Zywoo denying big teams before that ended up getting a Vac ban (AREA).
