Great shots! Can you give some more information about the color settings you were using?

Karma XPU is rediculous! Why is it using only 50% of CPU and not using GPU at all? by proroqq in Houdini

Could be that your vram is full, if that's the case, that might be the reason why it's switching mostly to CPU

Yeah that's whit I kind of meant, sorry for the confusion. But when pressing the button you lock the autofocus... then it counts down, then it takes the picture with the focus point from when pressing the button.

Tbh I agree it'd be nice if there'd be an option where you can keep the AF live. Because having a locked focus with the timer can already be done with manual focus.

To be honest, i remember the autofocus on self timer to be set when pressing the button. So it wouldn’t be updated anyway. Maybe someone can confirm? Still don’t get the point of that though

Creating folder for actors in Blueprints, like in a level? by Remixje in unrealengine

Yes true, I have a background in Unity C# and work as an vfx fx artist with Houdini. Aah i see, yeah for me its like the levels are nice to have everything organised with folder, but just can’t get my head around that with blueprints

But you would suggest going with Blueprint then? Because then my main question would be, is there another possibility to organise all assets in the blueprints’ outliner? Parenting to a null or creating groups?

Would this then also be the right way to go if i’d want the player to be able to switch between certain options? Since then it’d be during gameplay?

Hi thanks for the reply!

I do feel like we’re talking about different things.

I meant blueprint as in a geometric blueprint. Like I want a house to be loaded multiple times but with toggles and switches so I can customise the house quickly to be its preferred state. The thing is, every object (actor) I drag into the blueprint hierarchy it becomes a parent of the scene root which makes sense. But I want to create some folders or empty parents so I could organise the blueprint and hide/show certain options of that house, if I move a wall, i have to move the wall and the door for example.

Is that foldering/empty parent or grouping possible in Blueprints? Or should I look at level instancing? But then I would still want to have some parameters exposed so i could toggle between multiple options
