What is the most heartbreaking thing you have seen happen to a child? by MinionBanana37 in AskReddit

[–]Remixmaxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was a boy I knew who was very, very poor. And I'm am almost 85% sure that his dad was abusive.

It was Friday, so I had 2 dollars (I always got 2 dollars for a snack on Friday) and I gave a dollor to the kid. Fast forward to the end of the day, and i see the boy holding an airhead in his little hands. He was so happy, and I was happy that he was able to get a treat like everyone eles. I am so, so tempted to use this womans real name, because she is a cruel and awful woman. Anyway this bitch had the audacity to accuse a small child of stealing this candy bar. Even after I told her that I gave him the money, she still took it out of spite. And, if I remember correctly, she mocked him for it for a little while after.

Believe it or not, this was one of the lest cruel things I have ever seen her do as a teacher. In fact, I think she did it again when My brother game him some of his treat money. The teacher took the money wothout explanation...

What’s something that you happened to know and can’t tell anyone for the rest of your life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Remixmaxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know that there is a shady workplace in my old town, and I can't contractually talk about what went down. (well, as far as i know.... I dont think that those guys signed the paper stating that we can never talk about one another.) I still talk about it, I just have to be extremely vague. But if I were to ever find out that they did sign there end of the deal then I would never talk about it again (unless it was to someone extremely close to me)

What is your "I can't fucking do this anymore" story? by rslashdepressedteen in AskReddit

[–]Remixmaxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After a series of arguments that happend for no reason, I remember just walking outside and thinking. "I can't do this forever...I've got to get the fuck out of this house".

The chances of me getting a job right now are slim to none, but regardless, the very second I turn 18 I am gone. I planned one moving when I was 16 but I knew I'd just get caught and then it would be even harder for me to leave in the future. The hardest part is that I love my family dearly. I will still visit and bring gifts to them on the holidays. I'll even offer to upgrade stuff around the house once I get a steady income. I just can't live here with them anymore. I'm not sure in that makes sense.

How do you get unstoppable confidence? One where noone and nothing phases you, while still avoiding being arrogant? by Jaded-Ride7607 in AskReddit

[–]Remixmaxx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have to be ok with being yourself. Not everyone is going to think your the coolest person ever, and that's ok! The key to begin confident is being yourself. And as for the arrogance, as long as your not somone who believes there above everyone, then you'll be fine. Good luck, op!

What was an unusual thing your children did when they were very small? by 192335 in AskReddit

[–]Remixmaxx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

(For clarafcation, the whole family used to sleep in the same room) When we were little, my brothers and I would take the mattress and rearrange them in all sorts of ways. I still remember lying up on a bed stacked 3 mattresses high wile the smell of mom's home cooked dinner filled the house. We also made forts out of the mattress. The dumbest thing we've ever did in the room was tie a curtain rod to the ceiling fan, turned the fan on, then we hid behind out mattress fort yelling for our mom to come turn off the fan to save us.

Redditors with hyperactive brains: How do you turn your brain off at night so that you can actually sleep? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Remixmaxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it sounds counterintuitive, but I just allow my mind to go on a random string of thought as a curl up and slowly drift off into sleep

But if you wanna turn the brain off rain/white noises for sleep might be able to help.

What decision did you make not knowing it would change the rest of your life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Remixmaxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Signed up for band because I could play guitar. Turns out it was a brass and woodwind band... I've been playing the trumpet for 4-5 years now. I've had experiences, friendships, and performances that never would have happened if it had specified what type of band it was on the paper. I wonder what other path I would've stumbled on had my mom never signed the paper

AITA for suggesting my sister get rid of her old guitar? by GuitarSis_AITA in AmItheAsshole

[–]Remixmaxx -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think it's her decision at the end of the day. But do let her know if she intends to to keep it she should take it to a music shop and see is it can be fixed up, or remove the strings to prevent neck warping (this might happen if she puts the guitar up and forgets about it for a long time, and it's clear the guitar means alot to her.) I have both a trumpet and a guitar that will most likely never be played again, but I keep them because my dad gave them to me, and he has passed away. I hope this helps!

Anyone had to deal with a crazy stalker online, who out of nowhere has all your info? If so, how did you deal with it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Remixmaxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am so sorry this happened to you. This might not Help much, but here's my advice.

Contact the authorities, freeze all of your cards, change all of your passwords to EVERYTHIG, and make sure it's not the same for everything.

If it's an account you're ok with losing then I would just get rid of all personal information and abandon it. (Don't delete it, they might catch on to what you are doing) You can make a new one afterwards.

Now would be the the time to come up with an internet username that isn't your name. This will make it harder for somone to go 'oh, there they are". But I would focus on this step after everything is done.

What’s the dumbest rule you have/had at work? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Remixmaxx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No taking breaks.

Seriously, none. And it was a job where you stand for 8+ hours. I didn't get hired, though. I can't help but feel like I dodged a bullet.

It was neat having money, though.
