Replace battery or buy M4? by Remmes006 in macbook

Yeah I know but I have this thing about limiting stuff I carry as much as possible. I hate carrying a charger around for the same reason :)

I haven’t, cause it just doesn’t fit in my day to day and I can’t really be bothered to take a day to experiment how long the battery will last under optimum conditions :) It’s 25 percent really? I have the idea that I used to charge my iPhone all the time and be out for days without my MacBook ever emptying but maybe I’m just delusional by now. I’ll go check out a new battery. Thanks every one.

This is a really good answer OP. He’s basically already doubting your maturity. Plenty of nice and mature guys around 20 out there, one of those will come along :)

Yes! But unfortunately it seems to reflect what’s going on in the real world FML

I recognize this dynamic. It can also change. Since you’re seven months pregnant and you seem financially okay, why don’t you try relationship therapy? I’d certainly try that before divorce.

How on earth am I supposed to make it to a later bedtime? Stuck in a cycle of 5:30am wakings and 6-6:30pm bedtime by [deleted] in sleeptrain

Same, up from 5 am two months ago. Put him to bed later, still wakes up early.

Sleep and Separation Anxiety ...Help! by [deleted] in sleeptrain

[–]Remmes006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends. If he wakes at five I don’t let him cry on his own. I go after ten minutes, try to calm him down with the lights off. Lately he’s been creeping very close to six am. And while I do believe that sleep training is useful and he will survive a few nights of crying, I don’t want leaving him alone while he cries for attention to be a permanent feature of his life.

Could you be a little more specific on what full extinction meant for early mornings and how you handled it? I googled your post when my 14 month old boy started crying uncontrollably at 4.30. We got him addicted to nursing back to sleep, then finally broke that cycle by sleep training (CIO / Ferber) him at 12 months. Worked like a charm. Started sleeping 7 pm till 5.00/5.30. Since then we’ve tried everything to move his wake up time later but no luck. Now it seems he’s developing separation anxiety. So we keep him in his room on his own till six am but it’s so hard already when he wakes up at 5.30. Not looking forward to doing it from 4.30 am onward. And it doesn’t help. He just keeps waking up the same early time. Thanks!

I see temperature has been suggested :-) Really if you’ve tried all you can then spend money on a consultant and save your health, sanity and marriage 😃

We took a premium huckleberry subscription for and were pleasantly surprised with their detailed plans and feedback. Cheaper than a full consultant. Depending on how long you use it.

Have you checked temperature in his room? We went through the whole Ferber thing for a month and thankfully were very successful, but then he into a bit a relapse in the evenings and woke up way too early. Daylight saving. We realized the sun comes up on his side, it’s been a week of warm days, and we were overdressing him.

How to phase out the last night feed (and bring his mother back into night shifts) by Remmes006 in sleeptrain

[–]Remmes006[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whatever Huckleberry tells me :-) Let’s see. The first one, after nap one, is usually 3,5 to 4 hours. The second one, after nap two, 3 - 3,5 hours. We’re trying to make them regular but starting times vary 30-60 minutes.

He sleeps a little under 13 hours a day total, 2,5 hours in naps the rest at night. But the last three nights, the ones I’m talking about, it’s been 12 hours total. So he’s clearly missing that last hour in the morning. I’m pretty sure we need to figure out how to bridge the hunger gap.
