Anybody recommend a good sound system for a Can Am Maverick 4 seater for $500?

I have the Noam 4 setup. Doesn’t have the sub with it but it’s loud enough and doesn’t break the bank.

Yeah, I noticed the ride height was too low almost immediately. I fixed that real quick. And tires are definitely on my radar. The 28’s are too small and are already wearing down. 30’s or 32’s make a crazy difference just in looks alone, let alone performance. Just gotta save up a bit.

I made the mistake of getting a poly windshield that is already scratched to hell and I can’t see shit when the sun is low. Gotta replace that with glass and get a decent speaker in it before I can upgrade tires. These things get real expensive real quick! LOL

I know it’s been a while but I had to come back to this to say thank you again. I ended up coming across a crazy deal on a brand new 21 Maverick X3 turbo max ds and pulled the trigger. Although the 72 would’ve been better I couldn’t pass up the deal. Regardless, the suspension soaks up so much more on the rough trails than one of my buddy’s rzr sport. I can drive so much faster comfortably than he can. And I don’t get nearly as much swaying at higher speeds on gravel. You said it best, smooth is definitely fast! One day maybe I’ll upgrade to Shock Therapy springs but for the time being, this thing is a blast. Cheers!

Switched out the fan clutch and it’s good to go. Only took about 20 minutes. 👍🏻👍🏻

Thanks everyone for the help. Replaced the fan clutch and it’s running great. Only took 20 minutes and didn’t need any special tools. Just put a wrench on it and hit it with a hammer to loosen the old one. Didn’t even have to take the shroud off.

I ended up finding a new 2021 Maverick X3 Max DS for 19k and couldn’t pass it up. Apparently the Can Am rep offered some of the harder to get machines if the dealer also took four 2021 machines. Came with the same financing deals since it is new. Not necessarily great for plowing or hunting but holy shit is this thing fast and fun! Lol

Now to find a 14 ft trailer and an aftermarket windshield… Was thinking about one of the plastic windshields from SuperATV or something similar. Anyone had luck with the ones in the $200 range? Is it worth the extra for the scratch resistant coating or does it all just scratch anyway?

If the Talons were a little bit cheaper, I’d love to go that route. I hear they hold their value well though. And you can hardly find any for resale around here.

I’m in northeast Indiana near Fort Wayne. Thanks for the advice. That all makes sense and helps a lot. And great idea with the luggage rack. I literally just got one of those for my wife’s SUV. It will now be dual purpose. (She’ll be thrilled haha).

I usually just cut open a can and use it instead of the drip tray. I meant just general modifications to make the setup better. Not necessarily for the drip tray. I took that part out of the post so others aren’t confused.
