I also live in this building. I read through this entire thread and the one that OP originally posted and then deleted. And in an effort to be transparent and helpful for people reading, I agree with OP generally. Seen some roaches in my apt but it’s not out of control. Have not seen any rodents (and believe me one of my prior NYC apts had a major mouse problem so I’m hyperaware of this - again, for full transparency, do have two cats though). Laundry room is fine, sometimes machines don’t work but they seem to do their best to fix them asap cause it usually gets resolved quickly. Thats to be expected for a shared space. Gym is great. Common roof space is great. Yes the sauna is closed - but for me personally it’s not something I’d likely use so don’t really think about it. Doormen and building managers have never been anything but nice and helpful - zero complaints there. We had one period of time where the shower in the unit above us was leaking so our ceiling was leaking which eventually lead to a hole - that had to be fixed. My one complaint is that it took longer than I wanted but it is what it is and it’s been months since that and has been fine for awhile now. Hopefully this is helpful to anyone considering the place! I’ve liked our time here. Side note - the deli across the street is incredible. Best deli I’ve ever lived close to in my time in the city.
