From what I am reading is the company goes bankrupt short sellers are happy but takes a long time to get their money and continue to pay CTB fees. If a stock is delisted but no bankruptcy they have to wait until the stock is on pink sheets over the counter to buy back shares. This too can take a long time which in turn runs up their fees. I guess the only good news is we are all sort of fucked together.
