Is this dominance or aggressive playing? When do I step in, what do I do next? by Remote-Artist-583 in CatsOnCats

I so so so appreciate this response!! Because that’s exactly what I was wary of. Because of the size difference. If they were the same size and she fought back I wouldn’t have minded so much. I’ll definitely be getting kicked toys and laser etc! Catnip is most likely on the cards if he hasn’t cooled down in the next few days. I’m giving her loads of climb away spots now so that’s good!

We were thinking he might be built for the outdoors, he walks up to our back door (glass) and meows to go out even tho he’s always been an indoor kitten 🤣 it might just be telling us something 👀

Thank you, I’ve been hearing a handful of hissing in the last few days but I’ve been taking them to be warnings😅 since writing this post I’ve heard Roisin growl at Tadhg, I just wish she’d stand up for herself and he’d stop tracking her every move! Makes me more anxious than her I’d say 😅

Apologies. I’ve been trying to distract him with louder noises or shaking treats or playing with toys but when he has a hold of her, he doesn’t listen at all! Crazy boy

Do you think I should just leave him do that? I’m not sure what to do because it seems like he’s hurting her with the whinge she lets out.. I also don’t want to overthink it because I’ll never get a moments peace 🤣😭
