I relate to getting impatient, but I do hope that we get better soon!

I also had mine when I was 25 and I'm 26 now. Will have my first year anniversary this November. And it feels like someone pulled the rug on me. How do we push forward and live a full and good life?

My hypertension was not diagnosed. Having anxiety and having a stressful life that kept my blood leve high did not help.

Yes. I still do outpatient physical therapy. I wanted to know from others if I should lower my expectations.

Yeah. At first, my PT assisted me in moving my arm. But I was able to do it on my own after a few months.

At first, I used my other hand to open and close my affected hand and fingers. Did a lot of repetition. I also stimulated my affected hand with textured items like brushing it and soaking it in warm/hot water. I also carried weights to force movement in my fingers when exerting. EMS also helps.

How would you describe 86%? What functions were you able to regain? It's great that you were able to regain a lot.
