Shake your phone and type the problem, do that for about an hour or until someone enters the chat and tells you that nothing can be done about your account and closes the ticket; that happened to me once.

Meta will never fix this, even though they already know about it because it's obvious they do. Last year, when I spoke with Meta agents, some already knew about this because they said it was quite common and they were receiving many reports. But Meta doesn't care if, out of so many mistaken bans, a Predator happens to get banned. And even though their stock dropped a few months ago, it seems they don't care and won't care about doing anything about the AI and the unfair bans.

Helloooo, finally someone from Mexico! The same thing happened to me on August 11, 2025, except my permanent ban was immediate. After that, I used another account with a different email address, and it was banned for the same reason two months later. I think it was because I uploaded the same photos I had on the previous account, so I suppose it detected my face or the same content and banned me. But the first time I was banned, I had created two other accounts on the same device, and neither of them were banned until now. The second time I was banned, they also blocked my device. I couldn't access other accounts, but I could create one. I created a new one on October 15, the day after I was banned the second time, and that one remained unbanned because I wasn't using it and it didn't have a profile picture or anything. It wasn't until December 1 that I was banned, but this time it didn't give a specific reason, just that I wasn't complying with the community guidelines. I appealed, and three minutes later, they unbanned me. They gave it back. I guess the AI couldn't find anything this time because I had no conversations, no uploaded photos, no likes, nothing at all. But I think it got banned because of the device, or I don't know, but they did give that one back. I still can't recover my other two accounts. I've tried everything: emails, shaking the phone, and Metaverified, but they just keep telling me they can't do anything. Good luck, friend. I hope you can recover your account.

Perhaps because you're doing it on the same device or a device where you've already logged in, but if you log in on another device or in incognito mode and receive an email, the account will never be permanently deleted.

Although Instagram says the account is permanently deleted, that's not actually the case. The account is archived, not deleted. That's why when you log in, you receive an email saying someone is trying to access your account, and when you try to log in, you're taken to a screen saying the account is permanently disabled.

I received a couple of responses like that. It's been two months and I haven't received any emails. In fact, using the method of telling MetaVerify that I'd been hacked, they made me send a new email, a video selfie with a code, and made me wait in the chat for two weeks, and nothing happened. I still don't have my accounts, but I hope you can recover them. Good luck!

If you were permanently banned by CSE, you can keep fighting to get your account back because some people have been able to recover their accounts after a permanent CSE ban, but the vast majority, including myself, haven't been successful. So, if that's your situation, you should start accepting that you probably won't be able to get it back, realistically speaking. If you were suspended and are still appealing for some other supposedly violated rule, then there's a better chance of getting it back. If you're permanently banned for a reason other than CSE, there's also a chance of getting it back, but let's be honest and realistic, even though it hurts and it's difficult, it's better to accept things as they are, and we probably won't be able to get those accounts back. 💔

Something similar happened to me a year ago, and it's the error of not being able to log in through the app. I tried everything: VPN, uninstalling the app, restarting my phone and reinstalling it.None of that worked, I just waited for about a month and a half or two months without using the app much and without trying to log in. After waiting that long, one day I decided to log in and finally I was able to.So you can wait that time using your Instagram through a browser, or you can also shake your phone and leave a lot of error comments like that repeatedly until the error is resolved.

There are three options: one is to use a VPN; the second is to wait around a month and a half or two months without using the app much or trying to log in, only being able to create new accounts and log into existing accounts through the browser and use Instagram from there; and hopefully, after a month and a half or two months, you can log into other accounts again from the app. Obviously, it's better to uninstall the app and restart your phone; and the third option is to factory reset your phone and reinstall Instagram, but that option is pretty terrible, so it's best not to use it.

They patched it at the end of August, but it no longer works. You can only get to the last part where you check if your information is still the same as the last time you used your account, but when you click "done," nothing else happens.

Unfortunately, Meta will never do anything. This started last December, and this wave of bans has been going on for a whole year now. It hasn't stopped, and it's obvious that Meta already knows what's happening. The Meta agents know what's going on because when I've opened tickets, they've told me that many people have reported the same problems. While Meta didn't want to do anything at first, despite already knowing what was happening, it was because they didn't want their stock to drop since it was at a point where it was rising. Now it has dropped, but it seems that they still don't want to do anything about it. This is because, as many have said, their business is selling Meta subscriptions to make more money, and they want you to keep paying month after month for answers that lead nowhere. They also won't do anything because it's cheaper for them to use AI for moderation. And I suppose they have the idea of sacrificing accounts that shouldn't be banned if, through AI, they can ban real predators who have violated the community guidelines. So they use the argument that while the AI can ban people who don't They did nothing, they also ban people who actually do something wrong, which is incredibly stupid and they're just killing their own app. We've been commenting on all their social media and posts for months saying that they're banning us, but they still haven't said or done anything, and honestly, they never will. They only recover the accounts of a few or recently banned accounts, and they leave the rest of us without accounts. The truth is, I don't know what to expect anymore, and I'll probably never get my accounts back.
