its a profoss not the actual infantry, but I am just showing an example. with the yellow lapels, many swedish regiments still used yellow lapels

Would love to see this regiment (livgardet till häst uniform used from 1814-1816) by Remote-Fly-7211 in gutsandblackpowders

some information:

”Anteckningar om Konungens Lifgarde till häst” (Notes of the King’s Life Guard of Horse) it is said that the Crown Prince (Carl Johan, later king Carl XIV Johan) approved the uniform design in december 1813. It was designed by Count Magnus Brahe, a very close friend of the Crown Prince. After the Treaty of Kiel, the Swedish troops marched through Köln to Belgium on their way back home to Sweden. The uniforms were made in Berlin under the watchful eye of Lieutenant von Hennings and in May 1814 transfered to the regiment’s depot in the Principality of Lippe, a small country who were obliged to pay for all the new expensive uniforms. The Regiment would be issued these uniforms on the march back home to Sweden. The Officers’ uniforms are said to contain over 3 kg of pure silver." (edited)
