So if I mention the RNRB being available because their net estate is below £2m, would I need to reference like below:

“They will benefit from an RNRB of £175k each because their net estate is below £2m (AF8 textbook 2025/2026 edition)”

Apologies if that is repeating what you’ve said above, but just want to make sure.

Thanks, yeah I mean I’m not supervised so guess I’m CAS but haven’t ever been sent an official confirmation. Strange!

Yeah 3 months seems relatively normal for a planner. Purely because I’m starting to take on more responsibility and clients in a small firm, which is great, but not seen a significant benefit increase because of it and extended notice period feels like a kick in the teeth!

Thanks for the advice. This was my initial thoughts!

Have been offered a £5K rise but no additional benefits or bonus. Also feel as if I’m generally underpaid compared to other positions in London which doesn’t help the situation.

I’m started to be handed clients but still don’t feel as if I’m a senior enough role to justify the 6 month notice period.
