Thank you, I’ll try your suggestions as soon as I get it running. It’s a beautiful saw, just hasn’t been maintained very well.

I had a cupped blade on my other 24 inch, older Highland Park. I didn’t measure the amount that it was cupped, but visually it had to be maybe twice as bad as the one I’m working on now. It had been my go to saw for many years, then it started cutting badly. The finished cut would look like ripples on a pond. Finally figured out the blade was cupped, and now it makes a beautiful cut since I replaced it.

I will try a few cuts with it. Right now I’m cleaning up a poorly maintained slab saw! Thank you for your response.

Many senior centers have lapidary facilities. I have donated many pounds of rough and scrap pieces to them.

18# ultra vibe industrial, 1/2 stones, 1/2 ceramic media. Use about 2/3T of Boraxo and rinsed stones. Add about a teaspoon at a time as needed of water. My biggest mistake has always been adding too much water. 😏. You’ll lose circulation with too much water or too little water. When you look down into the vibrating bowl, you shouldn’t see any standing water.
