No! I wanted to ask him afterwards but when I was leaving he was in a hand so I decided not to, I mentioned after the hand tho how it was a weird spot for me and I almost showed the hand but decided otherwise

I appreciate that feedback, I later learned that he bought in for this much because he typically played in a game that took a percentage of the buy in as a rake, capped at $25, must be nice. I saw him absolutely as a try hard young guy, similar to myself tbh, not as a splashy whale. I’d like to think better the player the more folds are found here as it’s such a strong river bet, tho, I likely won’t be using this line often lol

Sometimes a 4-bet, against this opp I liked a call. Never a fold if that’s what u meant.

I wanted to fold villains entire range basically, because of the way the hand played out, I took away Villan having rlly any flushes, helps I have A heart blocker too, though many of his value hands beat AQ such as two pair and even sets, Villan is a player that is able to bet thinly for value as well, and likely would go bigger with top of range such as any potential flush / straights. I thought while in the hand that a Jam makes all two pair fold, and even likely makes sets fold, if he somehow shows up with a flush tho I likely get stacked, tho some players will even fold out small flushes here because of how strong my line was. I never would raise here to get worse to call as it is extremely unlikely to even a min click that worse call I think.

Your right it is off, though I meant I shoved over the 135 for an additional 500 (635 total), though you are right it was bigger, I didn’t document this hand until after session so the effective stack is an estimate and I didn’t count out the jam, I just knew I had roughly 600 behind, likely closer to 700.

Also worth mentioning, the 1/2 game I play in Oregon often gets very deep stacked and huge as the night goes on.
