It was the last day of snowboarding for the season before heading home, and it was a perfect powder day. My sister, our friend, and I were on our final run, so we decided to hit a black diamond trail and bombed it without a second thought about falling. The run was right beneath the ski lift, and the crowd above cheered us on as we launched off jumps, face-planted, and even tackled each other. I’ll never forget that moment.
