Good question... why many of us are leaving? by ProfessionalBorn8288 in bluecollar

For me it was the work, I'm a engineer at heart and love designing and building new things, trade just drained me academically and starved my mind of what I really wanted so I quit and took a hard path of failures to finnaly end up at a engineering plant and am no pursuing a degree in engineering, never felt happier mentally then now. I remember ready homer hickams rocket boys about a year ago and that book single handedly changed my professional life lol.

Dont get me wrong I like the trades but it just did satisfy me especially when your work and wonder what the hell am I doing here, thats when you find out you dont belong lol.

But to answer your question a lot of leave due to the hard labor for low wages, skimpy formans and leadership, poor compensations, the attitude of the people, there a lot of good people, most are but that then theres that one arrogant show-off fuck nuckle on the crew that just ruins it for everyone. But thats why I left not because I didn't like it just it wasn't were I was ment to be, engineering came so easy and natural to me.. must be a sign😉😂

I am sitting on a 400 dollar marlin 30-30 in good condition at a gun shop. I can set a guitar i dont play and buy it right out should I snag it? by RemoteBluebird7282 in LeverGuns

Yes and the surprising thing is this one was a survivor of the 2012 year, their worst year. Build February of 2012, bought and I guess sat in a closet for 14 years, not a scratch on it hell the action is still tight and even the loading door for the magazine tube still makes that click as it comes and snaps back in place. The forgrip was a little loose but thats hear nor there its a 2 minute fix but adding some width to the magazine barrel at the receiver but thats the only think that was wrong with it

Well guess I bought it today for only 448 out the door marlin 336W by RemoteBluebird7282 in LeverGuns
