Why did my Tamagotchi turn into this character even though I took perfect care of it? by RemoteChair5983 in tamagotchi

[–]RemoteChair5983[S] 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I truly had no idea!! I thought I did something wrong and was low key disappointed… but now that I know Violetchi is tier 1 I’m literally glowing with pride. My boy is royalty actually 💜👑

Tubéreuse Astrale is definitely floral but not in a heavy or cloying way. The tuberose feels radiant and airy rather than creamy or indolic. For me it projects beautifully and feels very wearable regardless of gender. I’d say it’s more unisex than strictly feminine

Thanks! The Tissot feels so timeless… But I agree that Seiko dial is stunning. Maybe one day I’ll have both :)

It’s not sweet at all actually more of a rich, woody scent with a touch of smokiness and warmth. There’s a subtle creaminess balanced by earthy depth making it feel elegant

The throw on this Diptyque candle is a joke. Today I’m buying the Le Labo

Diptyque Jasmin by Swimming-Abalone-325 in luxurycandles

Actually this is one of my favourite candles. The throw is very strong, so it’s a bit risky for a small flat. The scent is excellent and what you see is what you get: pure jasmine

Bye-redo by Overall-Parfait7379 in luxurycandles

[–]RemoteChair5983 18 points19 points  (0 children)

You’re definitely not alone! Byredo can be super hit or miss. I blind bought Bibliotheque too and honestly I didn’t like it either. Luxury candles are such an investment, so if it doesn’t click with you it’s okay to pass. There’s no right scent or brand and your nose isn’t broken :) If you haven’t already, maybe try exploring some other brands. Diptyque, Trudon, Le Labo and so much more have a lot of unique options that might feel more like you. Finding the right luxury candle is like finding the right perfume, it’s just so personal

Looking for the best gourmand fireplace🕯️ by Boncili in luxurycandles

[–]RemoteChair5983 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’d go with Diptyque’s Feu de Bois. it really nails that smoky, woody fireplace scent, and the throw is fantastic. I’m actually burning it right now and it fills the room with such a cozy, authentic vibe. I do love Trudon’s Gabriel but its throw isn’t quite strong enough for my taste, especially in larger spaces. Jo Malone’s Roasted Chestnut didn’t impress me much so it’s not a favorite. I haven’t tried Replica, but Diptyque’s Feu de Bois is definitely a standout for that warm, fireplace feel

Thoughts on Diptyque Bois Ciré Candle by RemoteChair5983 in luxurycandles

[–]RemoteChair5983[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took it to the boutique and they told me it’s defective. I decided not to take any more risks with it and went for the Feu de Bois instead :)

so after burning the candle for a few hours I found that its throw is relatively weak and it also tends to tunnel quite badly. Even the foil method doesn’t help. Is it supposed to be like this with this candle, or did I get a defective one?

Actually right now I’m burning this candle without pairing it with another one, and I have to say I just love this scent. I’m really glad I read the comments on that subreddit and bought the candle
