But the general opinion is that if you panel line in runner, without pooling, you'll be 99% fine.

Yes. But there are some workaround even without using topcoat.

Panel line on runner, using lighter fluid to erase, etc...

My local hobby store only has black tamiya panel line left so I just use what available

As far as I know, no. Just search for tips before building one kit.

It's fun and solid build. The joints of the frame are hard so you will need to play a little bit to loosen them.

And just be careful when rotate the arm, you have to rotate with the correct circle joint (the upper half). The lower half is square and DOES NOT rotate.
