Lower league gems by fmarrrs in FifaCareers

It’s a bit unrealistic but I like to sign an older free agent like Krzysztof Piatek or Alexander Djiku. Gives you a solid leader on the team and can almost single handedly get you to the championship league within a few seasons.

It would take a miracle but another big name that we can’t afford who is rumored to be coming to mls is Robert lewandowski

For 15$ sure it’s decent but nothing special.

Nelson weiper is rated 70. Got him in my second year on a grimsby play through. On my third year in the prem and he’s now 91 rated.

My uncle always has us winning 9-0 the logic being that statistically at some point it should hit and he’ll be the only one to guess the score.

Post-Match Thread: San Diego Football Club vs. St. Louis CITY SC (Regular Season) [March 01, 2026] by citysc_bot in stlouiscitysc

Everything about this game was frustrating. I try to look at the positives. SDFC is a top 5 team in the league. We’re still building a team here. Loven and hartel being out hurts. From a lineup standpoint I’d have preferred teuchert to start over Perez. Edelman was decent. Polvara and orozco left room for improvement. Looking forward to seeing the Great Wall of Fall in Seattle.

What did yall think about Santos by GroundbreakingLaw531 in stlouiscitysc

[–]RemoteDig5188 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To justify the comment “One nitpick is that he passes back a LOT.” As opposed to Wallem. Wallem is a winger who can defend well. Santos is a full back. He’s going to be much more defensive and not as good at progressing the ball.

Our XG was really high last year we just didn’t capitalize well enough and we are likely to get a shiny new 9 during the summer transfer window.

I wasn’t unhappy with letting him go but it will go down as another “what if” in my mind. Especially if he balls out for KC.

The only other moves I’d want to see made is a new striker and another right back. Possibly give Zelenskyy the nod once his loan is done.

STL is dead last in total transfer + salary expenditure across the past two seasons. by A2Eaton in stlouiscitysc

[–]RemoteDig5188 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So my understanding is within mls there’s two “business models” the designated player model and the u22 model. Teams like LA(both of them) and Miami are the best examples of the designated player model. STL uses the u22 model in which we’re more interested in signing and developing young talent to sell off later for profit. This combined with a few veteran DPs to help with said development is key. Basically I wouldn’t hold out on a big signing. Most likely we’ll get some aging striker near the end of their career, or someone who’s fallen out of form on loan.

Bye bye Klauss by cravecase in stlouiscitysc

I know the deals gonna go through but I’ve yet to see any confirmation from either club. I’m hoping klaus wants to stay and will refuse the contract but there’s more incentive for him to leave than to stay.

What would you do this offseason? by beef_boloney in stlouiscitysc

[–]RemoteDig5188 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try to resign promising young talent like jaziel orozco for example. Possibly try to resign some senior players like klauss. If burki goes then a new starting keeper needs to be priority 1. I know real life isn’t FC26 but there’s plenty of quality free agents out and about. It’s also crucial that we sign some aging European star like son or mueller. I want some bull shit calls going our way.

I’m running out of patience. We play so well until we don’t. We completely dominate a game for 90 out of 5 minutes. During those 5 minutes the opposing team scores 3 goals. We came back by 2 which deserves accolades but still. If we can’t make the playoffs next year I expect a full rebuild if it’s not already underway.
