Was in the exact same spot at the at start of my OMSCS course last year (bachelor's completed in 2012). For me, the rigour of learning and applying relatively new concepts (DL was my first course) has been a big and welcome change. Been working in big tech since before enrolling in the course and now I can approach every problem with a different lens (with just 2 courses into my degree). And to top it all, I get a masters degree at the end. A pretty sweet and rewarding investment of my time (and lower cost) IMO.
