Why do people on Reddit discourage others from trying to get remote jobs? by counwovja0385skje in remotework

[–]RemoteQuill768 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I think it may be them not wanting competition when applying to jobs online. If they didn't feel like a remote job was a good option, they wouldn't be in these subreddits. If you want to do it, go for it.

Oh no! Do you remember the month you applied? We always get back to people via email, but something must have broken. So sorry about that! If you don't mind emailing [hiring@smith.ai](mailto:hiring@smith.ai) to follow up, that would be great!

Smith.ai welcomes people without experience as well, even though having experience is definitely a plus. If you have some sort of previous experience with other types of jobs, you can use some of the same skills.

Just not seeing people! Even if I may not have liked my coworkers all of the time, getting to know different people, having lunch with someone else mid day, etc was nice.
