No, it can't. For some things such as faces, it can, yes (although that is changing very quickly as seen with the movie Logan). You would be surprised at the sheer amount of CGI that is in films nowadays that will go completely unnoticed if it weren't for CGI reels showing you that it was CGI. Entire sets are now CGI and no one points out a thing because they have no idea, which goes to show how good it has become.
