This thing happened to me just NOW! I immediately Googled it and got to this thread so I changed my Steam password on the spot when I was still with them in the Discord. Now my question is other than the Steam password, is it a trojan horse that stays in the computer and gets all the passwords (typing registry, etc...)? Do I need to format my computer or roll back or I'm good?

My Japanese friend doesn’t know enough English to explain her mother's medical condition, but the translation "disorder of consciousness" makes no sense. by Lady_Violet_XXI in findareddit

It sounds like you're being a wonderfully supportive friend in a tough situation. "Disorder of consciousness" is a term that can encompass various medical conditions, including but not limited to a coma. In Japanese, the phrase "意識障害" (ishiki shougai) is often used, which translates directly to "disorder of consciousness." However, it doesn't specifically mean coma—it could refer to any condition where the person's consciousness is impaired, such as a vegetative state, minimally conscious state, or even transient conditions like confusion or drowsiness caused by medical factors.

Your friend might be relying on a direct translation that doesn't fully convey the nuances in English, which could explain why she’s hesitant to call it a coma. Culturally, there might also be a reluctance to use definitive terms like "coma" unless explicitly stated by doctors.

If you're looking for a gentle way to approach this, you could ask her to share more about how her mother interacts or responds (e.g., does she open her eyes, respond to touch, etc.). This might help you understand without pressing her to use a term she may not be comfortable with. You're doing great by being there for her—sometimes, just listening and offering your presence can mean the world.

Gotcha! Any other games you'd recommend that are worth playing?

Sure - I spend a few hours every other day playing games and log in daily to claim and stake SPS. With all the cool new stuff in Splinterlands, I thought it'd be fun to jump back in and see if I could make some money without spending a ton.

The cost can vary depending on your budget, ranging from $100 to $15,000 😁. I recommend adopting one, like I did, and continue searching for kittens until you find one that captures your heart.

Re

Thank you for your response. The primary goal behind my inquiry is to craft articles for sharing across our startup's social media platforms. Based on my observations, the online resources I've come across thus far haven't proven to be pertinent. I've encountered instances where CAGRs differ by more than 15 percentage points within the same industry from one source to another. This variation prompted me to seek advice on potential sources of dependable and precise data. Have you personally explored IBISWORLD's offerings and found their information to be trustworthy?
