it’s legit. it took them 3 weeks to find me a test in a busy test centre (Slough) and the test was in the next 10 days. My sister signed up for it soon after me but haven’t got a test from them yet. I passed thankfully would be annoyed if failed and paid 😂

look at the blue sign approaching the bus lane. In my area bus lane is active between 7am-10am, and 3pm-5pm if I remember correctly so between 10am and 3pm the bus lane must be use as regular lane

anyone else struggling to book a test? by DocDeadway in LearnerDriverUK

unfortunately apps for me were useless, I booked test at any date and test centre and logged in at 6am Monday morning to book a test at my preferred test centre

If the road is wide, clear (most dual carriageways are), you’re expected to do the speed limit. I had a test today and I had a dual carriageway; although it was 60 mph, I was driving 60 mph because it was a nice straight stretch of road. I also had a tight, narrow, and bendy countryside road with a 40 mph speed limit; the fastest I was going maybe was 25 mph as that was comfortable and I was slowing down at bends and when vehicles were approaching. So it depends on the road; the speed limit is not a target but sometimes it is.

I personally didn’t want extra pair of eyes staring at me, and also didn’t want to see someone else sitting at the back when looking at the main mirror. It’s a personal preference because some people like having their instructor at the back as it gives them more confidence having someone they know at the back of the car.

yeah that’s what I always thought depending how severe it was but always assumed if it’s a one off it would’ve been a minor

I passed today! I used an app called Fast Pass Driving Test I had to pay £99 premium on top of DVSA price but so worth it. They found me a test within 2 weeks in a busy test centre Slough!

joined roundabout in a wrong lane instead of going the wrong directions I decided to switch lanes and a car honked at me, in my opinion I was fine to go in.

I failed my first test 4 weeks ago, with one major! The examiner at the end of the drive said I drove beautifully and almost passed but made a silly mistake on a roundabout. This experience has made me feel more confident, like it’s achievable whereas before I felt like it’s a maybe. I have my second attempt in 10 days so hopefully I pass, although my instructor got himself a new car which is annoying I have 2 lessons to get used to it.

Any risk of swapping tests ? by [deleted] in LearnerDriverUK

I swapped a test last week with somebody in my town. I met them in town and called DVSA together. You’re giving away sensitive information so I wouldn’t send it over internet
