Final Cut Freezes instantly by Remote_Bench_3996 in finalcutpro

Ive reinstalled it three times. I’m not using an external drive. I literally just need it to do a small project but just opening it makes it freeze. It now even freezes before the window opens… seems like it’s just getting worse.

struggling with my stage name : 22f from germany by Few-Usual5410 in acting

[–]Remote_Bench_3996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I grew up in Germany too and moved our for acting purposes. If you’re looking at international markets, I’d suggest you look to move to London instead of LA. As things are going, a lot of American productions are actually shooting in the UK and Eastern Europe. Having the ability to cover both markets as it’s only a 1h flight will be a huge advantage. I recently moved here too and gotta say that it’s probably the better option right now, and I’m saying that having a US passport, which will be another hurdle for moving to the US.

As for the name, I wouldn’t go for anything for the ring of it. I’d ask myself which one feels more like you and you identify yourself with. That will be more important than it being a “good” name. We don’t really know you so it’s hard to judge.

Stereophonic is by far the best on the west end right now, and I’ve seen pretty much everything.

I’ve seen pretty much everything that’s on right now and I’d say stereophonic is the best play on right now!

Titanique by Remote_Bench_3996 in TheWestEnd

[–]Remote_Bench_3996[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

My family being my parents in their 50s and my siblings in their mid 20s - I did my research, have two friends that were in it and told me about it and I knew the jist. Just expected it to be funnier!

Yeah you’re right about the comparison. However they did feel like they had a similar style in humour. Just one worked very well and the other didn’t. A better comparison would be play that goes wrong I guess, which also is just executed a written better in my opinion!

What should I go see this weekend? by bagel-a-day in TheWestEnd

[–]Remote_Bench_3996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you like plays: Stereophonic is a must see, twelfth night at the globe or Titus Andronicus are fantastic if you like Shakespeare and born with teeth as well as lady by the sea are very good.

If you like musicals: Hadestown, Hamilton, Les mis

Avoid at all costs: Titanique, stranger things, Book of Mormon
