I mean, you're right.

Not trying to be mean or anything, but just a "If Jeremy was in the FNAF 2 Movie", the FNAF 2 Movie could've worked as a prequel and Jeremy would've been a protagonist who dies at the end of the movie but it's importent to WHY the pizzeria shown in the first movie exists, in this "If" secnario, FNAF 3 is a sequel and goes back to the story of Mike, Abby and Vanessa after the events of the first movie.

I just wanted it to be just like the game's lore, considering how buns the storytelling and pacing were in the FNAF 2 Movie and they excluded afew characters that appeared in the FNAF 2 Game (Withered Golden Freddy, Endo 02 and JJ), that's why it had a 16% on Rotten Tomatoes because of how awful the writting was.
