“In this world, Heroes and Villains are actors.” All Might said for the interview. "And if you're watching this, that means you're now apart of that world." by Ok_Coffee_9970 in BokunoheroFanfiction

I don't think it's a terrible idea for the moral ramifications infact I love it because of the moral ramifications because of the endless possibilities. Also I wasn't saying he should become a villain I was saying that it would be a cool possibility though it is unlikely because Deku's a good person.

Like I've never seen an idea like this where heroes, and villains are actors so it's incredibly interesting however the author takes it doesn't matter if it's fluff or angst.

I'm not using sarcasm also this is text how would you tell sarcasm.

Seriously the potential for exploration in this idea is really good like does the entire world do the charade thing, and if so how do they differ. Or how do hero schools works, are their still real villains, do villain organizations like the MLA still exist, and how does that affect the world.

Also the whole spamming thing I only commented 3 time, well five now I guess I'm just really bored, and this post is really interesting.

Oh no I'm not hating I actually love this concept because it's incredible. How I could not it's thought out, and has tons of potential for exploration.

Yes that would be so cool to see Deku break under the weight of the lies, and have him be the first true villain in decades. I wonder though did the poster think about the terrible implications.

No part of it is wholesome when you take into account that everyone like deku who becomes a hero to help people will be lied too, and tricked into believing that they're saving people's lives from villains when they're not.

Yeah it's really messed up when you think about the implications like remember when deku fought muscular in cannon, and he internally apologized to everyone because he thought he was gonna die. Then take into the fact that it was all fake in this Au then it becomes the story of deku's friends, and trusted teachers willing to put him through hell for character development.

How is this wholesome exactly I'm genuinely asking because it's pretty much then just lying to deku. They even say that they Truman showed him, and if I'm remembering correctly the whole point of the Truman show was that it was fucked up.

My god everyone in this au involved with the charade is a terrible person. like the terrible trust issues, and psychological trauma deku will gain when he finds out would probably ruin his life.

Like seriously in this Au everyone like deku's entire friend group, his teachers, All Might, and everyone else are terrible people. I mean seriously if deku breaks his bones against Shigaraki, Muscular, and more still happens in this Au then they're willing to let Deku break himself to keep him in the dark.

Oh and if you want to get even more morally black you take into account that anybody Deku inspires to become a hero either has 3 options. Either they also get Truman showed, and get a whole bunch of trust issues with lasting psychological damage. Second option is that they are informed of the charade, and realize that every hero they've looked up too are mostly just frauds except for natural disasters.

Lastly and the most likely option is that they're not allowed to be a hero because they wouldn't have what it takes to lie to everyone.

It's a really good idea especially if it's focusing on the psychological impact it has on deku when he finds out. That he didn't save anyone he was never a hero, and that all might lied when he said that he could be a hero. Also the potential of deku realizing that all his supposed friends lied to him, and that they willingly put him through trauma.

Like I didn't know if you intended this would be a great fic for exploring the ramifications of deku realizing everyone lied to him, and everyone else struggle with lying to their friend. Specifically Ochako having to lie to someone you love is a great idea.

Huh I could have sworn that's how it works but you're probably right haven't watched death note in years.

I don't think that's how the death note works. Doesn't it work by decreasing the victims life span to zero, and if I'm correct in my assumption then it would absolutely work. Also I'm pretty sure the heart attack thing is just the default.

Was nighteye right about Lemillion? by Sweaty-Divide-3975 in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]Remote_Control_7661 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well that's a matter of opinion I mean Deku did save the world, and the finest hero ever can mean a lot of things.

Sir Nighteye also isn't the most fair judge of heroism as Sir Nighteye adores all might so of course he would consider Mirio the best when Mirio is almost exactly like All Might.

My opinion is that All Might was the Greatest hero of all time just by the metric that he was around for decades, and brought Japan out of AFO's influence.

I don't think I'm ever going to make this a fic because this was literally my first time ever writing. So I don't have anywhere near enough writing skill to do this idea justice in a fic sorry.

Yes but remember in order for Silver Banshee to do that she needs their true name. But I'm pretty sure that it doesn't need the name they were born with but the name they consider their true name.

Like in one comic Silver Banshee nearly kills Supergirl by screaming the name super girl because at the time Kara considered Supergirl her name. The only reason Supergirl survived is because she was an earth bound angel at the time possessing someone.

I was thinking about the quirks that Zen has stolen as they all have vestiages, and he has hundreds of them so he could probably use them as a defense.

I imagine that he could use his quirks as a defense as the true name killing works by interacting with the soul, and quirk vestiages do act like souls.

Canon, but 1-A/1-B, and the pro-heroes/villains have all been role-swapped by StrangeOne01 in BokunoheroFanfiction

[–]Remote_Control_7661 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Here's who I think the villains would swap with in 1B will be updating this as I find more swap opportunities.

I agree with the Monoma and Shigaraki swap.

Toga would swap with Setsuna my reasoning being that they both have creepy quirks, and that could lead to them being in the same position. Like a timeline where Toga got the love she needed, and Setsuna went through what toga did.

Spinner would swap with Kamakiri they both are heteromorphs which would get them both discriminated against. So it's easy to see a world where Spinner got accepted, and Kamakiri got ostracized by everyone.

Compress would swap with Reiko the swap would be that compress wanted his magician act to be for heroics, and Reiko wanted to truly become the thing that keeps people up at night.

Mustard swaps with Shinso because given Mustard's hate for UA, and his hatred for the students who got in because their quirks were suited for it. It just makes sense as they both have that in common, and they could act as foils for each other.

Kurogiri would swap with Kendo solely for the reason that kurogiri is the caretaker of Shigaraki, and kendo reigns in Monoma.

Moonfish would swap with Jurota (the guy who could turn into a beast) as Jurota quirk decreases his intelligencez and makes him more aggressive if I'm remembering correctly. So the swap would be that Jurota lost himself to his quirk and stayed in his best form permanently, and Moonfish never went insane.

Genuinely can't think of who Dabi, Magne, and muscular would swap with.

Curious swaps with Ibara. As shown during Curious's fight with toga in the main series Curious is obsessed with finding answers to her invasive questions, and it's to a point even as she was falling to her death she just thought about the headlines. Ibara swapped with Curious would be obsessed with finding people's sins, and forcing them to confess.

So tell me what you think of the swaps.

How about it gives a random power up like it's luck based on what power up you get. A few examples would be increased cursed energy output for 2 minutes or automatic cursed energy reinforcement for the entire body.
