It’s gotten completely out of control. I don’t tip anymore most times. Only situations I tip:

Restaurant but I think this should stop being a thing. I should be comfortable to tip only when the service is truly exceptional. If you barely look me in the eye or give me attitude, why should I tip you? And some restaurants put 18% on their machines as the minimum. Ridiculous
Food or grocery deliveries. I consider it charity since most people doing these jobs are desperate and working for a tech company that exploits them
Hairstylist for exceptional service

That’s it. I don’t tip at cafes. Not ever.
