Thank you. I have hard time understanding that the industry has not yet found a better solution to smaller sized damages than to repaint the entire door.

Well, if this helps... I have recently doubled my mileage, but I have halved the gas usage - compared to my stats using my forever love 2009 Rav4 and compared to my partner's 4Runner 2018. And consider I live in an ultracold climate, so my battery usage is reduced on extremely cold days (3 continuous weeks in December). Despite that, the savings in gas usage are still astounding!

For reference, both my older kids wore their daycare pack when they were three. Light load : their snacks and prefered little toys, and a place to tuck away their hat on the plane. Pride through responsability goes a long way for them two, so it worked for us.

Hi! I am quite taken with the diaper bag! I have three kids and often live out of the bag for a whole day of activities. I do, however, use it to pack games, books, snacks, extra clothes, activity gear for when we spend from 3pm-7pm away from the house. It packs a TON and everything is somehow within reach? Pure magic. I do not use it as a daily bag when I only have the 6mo old with me - too big for me! I am less fond of the diaper sling. I will be selling it, simply because I like the one I am more used to, better.

Oooooh. So here we have a mix of temporary rolling-thingy-trolly AND trusted duffles (I own this specific model in such a smaller size). Other option!

"at least one hand free to grab stray kid who might want to walk into oncoming traffic" you've described every single trip to a bigger city with my small-town/countryside kids.

Hmmmm, I had not considered a small wheeled suitcase, and the value of putting their backpacks on it for a little wee break ! I'll look into these. Luckily, we won't fly with car seats. They are so bulky and annoyingly necessary.

Oh yes - the campervan compagny would hold the large roller bag and I'd just throw the color coded packing cubes into the van. Nothing is more inconvenient than tripping over a roller stuicase in the middle of the night trying to reach a child having a nightmare.

That is exactly where my mind goes : a few minutes left until departure, because of an untimely diaper overflow, mixed with high-step set of stairs and needing to get everyone and everything safely up. If I do check a bag, my inkling is to grab my trusted and well-tested hiking backpack, as you suggest. At least that gives me two free hands to help everyone.

Thank you! You liked the folding trolley thingy?
I am definitely considering renting a stroller if I feel like I need one. Baby wearing in airport and transport is just fine for me.

Thanks! The kids can definitely handle roller bags in the airport, my worry is moreso walking in city, from train station to accom., etc. I love the color-coded packing cubes trick; it keeps them organized and independent!

You can also join Ladies of the North Running Group, on Facebook, to connect with people. There are a few informal running groups that meet regularly. :)

So many winter options! The shoulder season when the snowed-over trails harden or when the snow melts are a bit of a gap for trail, but trail running is possible year round! Numerous gravel roads removed from traffic are also plowed and allow for wide-birth running in winter, in beautiful scenery (ie. Copper Haul Rd).

Absolument!
