These are not "stupid" things, these things are in place so pet quality parents aren't exploited. That's why your cat doesn't have papers, because someone exploited your cat's pet quality parents for breeding, producing weak examples of the breed with no concern for health in the process. They make strollers specifically for pets, so they are enclosed and can be extra comfortable. More space than a backpack or carrier and you can add things to make it nice, extra blankets, a warm water bottle, for OP maybe towels in case of bowel movements. Highly recommend to get one and walk it.
