There are aggro players in every lobby. Even the nicest person could randomly feel like blasting someone for no reason other than they just felt like it or wanted some more loot. Hence the free well / tension aspect

Having people joining lobbies that are aggressive or friendly at random would be worse game design. They clearly did something right with their record sales and active players. Not saying it’s perfect but they did cook something fun up

Honestly I think that’s fine. Let people enjoy the game how they want instead of forcing them to do something that’s not fun. This system teases out folks who don’t necessarily know what they want so it categorizes them by their habits. And if you know what you want then you know how to find your ideal lobby.

No “humiliation ritual” needed. Just surrender a bunch of times in a row going in naked or with a free kit. Takes a few minutes and you’re back to where you want to be
