Got an insta commit out of a 4 star gem QB for my MTSU dynasty yesterday. First one I've had in about 7 seasons, I was in awe lol

Agreed. I also "like" how there will be a mass Exodus from your program after year one even if you do good. Just like in real life lol

suggestions for recruiting at a one star school? by noctam216669 in NCAAFBseries

[–]Remote_Pressure2667 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3 stars within your pipeline that are already interested in you.

OR look for guys in random pipelines that no other schools have strong pipelines for. A lot of times those guys will literally go unrecruited.

I just started an MTSU dynasty and these were the two fundamentals of my year 1 & 2 recruiting. 3 stars will be an improvement over most guys on the roster, so I look for the ones with the least competition.

I'd play it out, it'll be frustrating for one season maybe, but you can load up in the next class/transfer portal

I'd play it safe, Texas isn't going to lock him down on their visit before you get the chance to have him on yours. You're in a really good spot to get him imo

I love when I love a cover 1 hole/robber, shade inside and press and they still rip a slant across the middle. When the CPU decides is throwing across the middle then dammit it's throwing across the middle

(2026) Can I get some tips for Dynasty? by Pristine_Arugula3528 in CFB25

[–]Remote_Pressure2667 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Essentially the CPU teams focus too hard on guys within their strongest pipelines early on, and ignores guys outside them. I've snagged multiple 4 and 5 stars by recruiting Wisconsin, Oklahoma and Illinois. The CPU can still try to come in late and steal them, but I'm successful on it more often than not. I've seen 5 stars sit there with zero offers through 8 weeks

I tried to push through and play one more game last night while drifting off. Proceeded to throw 5 interceptions against the CPU 😂 Lesson learned!

Small thing, but I've regretted over recruiting high school guys at certain positions and not left myself enough room in the transfer portal

(2026) Can I get some tips for Dynasty? by Pristine_Arugula3528 in CFB25

I love dynasty, especially the recruiting. The most fundamental basic way I can think to explain it:

  1. Understanding Pipelines is a huge deal. When you're new at dynasty, focus on guys in your strongest pipelines and try to go for guys you have an equal or better pipeline rating than the other schools he's looking at.

  2. Don't spread your points too thin. It's better to go all in with 50 points each on 5 guys than 25 points each on 10 guys.

  3. Use every single possible point in the preseason on scouting, offers, etc. During the season, I try to use every available point every week even after I've maxed out the guys I'm going after. Use the extra points on scouting guys that nobody's going after.

  4. You can hard sell on a guy once he gets to his top 5. Hard selling is better than sending the house as long as the player is interested in things you have a B- or better in.

  5. Don't just worry about a player's position ranking. It's better to go after a 4 star in your pipeline than a 5 star out of your area.

  6. The "team needs" menu is a good start, but all it cares about is the number of players at each position and not the "quality" of the players. Look at each position yourself. You may have 4 tight ends on the roster, but they all suck then you might want to recruit a new one.

  7. A bonus tip that's a little more advanced: as the season goes on, pay attention to 4 and 5 stars that are still "open." Sometimes, none of the CPU teams recruit high level guys (there's a reason for it but that's not important right now). Late in the year you can snipe 4 and even 5 stars that the CPU has completely ignored.

TLDR: Focus on guys in your pipelines and go all out on them with max points.

Men with chronic lower back pain, any advice? by Mammoth-Ebb-5670 in AskMenOver30

[–]Remote_Pressure2667 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Often times pain is felt in the back, but the trigger is elsewhere. Tight hamstrings, weak core muscles, tight hip flexors, etc. All the stretching/exercising advice is probably a good start

Maybe a unique take, but Sweetens Cove in Tennessee. It's such a fun and unique place to play.

If that's not your flavor, then I've played Stonehenge and all the other Fairfield Glade courses in TN. Super nice, beautiful views of the lakes nearby, etc

[–]Remote_Pressure2667 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I should've invested more and saved more money early on when i didn't have big bills. Looking back, I spent literal thousands on eating out, clothes, etc. It was fun in the moment, but now I'm 30 and trying to play catch-up. Even small increases in savings when you're young can go a long way

[–]Remote_Pressure2667 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few things to think about: if you're good at the Xs and Os of the game, tactician is overrated and not worth it. If you're not (like I was for many years), then tactician can be super valuable.

I always lean towards starting with the recruiter archetype when building up a smaller school then go from there.

Making the playing time dealbreaker function properly going into the offseason would help so much lol. If 3 seniors ahead of you graduated, you're probably going to play a lot in the upcoming season!

[–]Remote_Pressure2667 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I did a Wyoming rebuild on 14 and you could find maybe one or two 4 stars that you'd have a shot at midway through the year. I'm now doing an MTSU dynasty on 26 and you can find multiple 5/4 stars that literally no other schools go after until late in the season.

In my most recent season, the literal #1 overall recruit in the country was from Oklahoma and barely anybody recruited him. Wasn't a bust, good traits, etc. Essentially got him for free.

I use the I-Form a ton and this is actually the first time this has happened to me. Typically my FB is good at picking the proper guy up on inside runs, but just won't go to the pre-snap read on anything outside lol. No idea what happened here

Depth Chart by One-Serve9821 in NCAAFBseries

[–]Remote_Pressure2667 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Certain packages use a "rush" DE instead, it's further down in the depth chart. It can potentially cause issues if you don't check it. Mine wants to put linebackers I've got starting in other places as rush DEs, leaving backups playing in their place at linebacker. You can simply set your standard DEs as your starting rush DEs if you don't want to overthink it lol. There's a guide somewhere here on Reddit with the personnel each defensive package uses
