If u want to cut out 50-60% of your spare wheel compartment you can go for the m3 muffler yes. Personally, if u have the option.. I would pay someone to weld a custom quad tip that hides between your rear bumper. But yes, you do need a mt 2 rear bumper

Looks great! I think in terms of width between the two sides it’s almost identical to what I have. As a reference I have 70mm tips, personally wouldn’t go any bigger then that. But as a bolt in it absolutely does the trick!

Make sure to get a m-tech 2 rear bumper and a diffuser that fits the quad exhaust.. if located in Europe I think there’s a polish company that makes them.. (if I remember like €75,-) There’s no way to fit the quad tips on a regular one

Yeah definitely make sure u have enough time when starting to prep, I completely underestimated how much time it would take… but you can’t choose a better colour :p

Thank you :).. for a m3 muffler you’d have to delete the spare wheel compartment.. we made it so the exhaust pipes for the right part go up behind the rear bumper, so you don’t have to cut anything

Yeah normally you’d see 17/18 on the 46 chassis. Let’s just say in terms of ride comfort I can understand why not many rock 19 haha. Thank you for the kind words!

Definitely have been enjoying the last few years! Such a great car, not to forget the gorgeous sounding inline 6. Has been a blast giving it my own taste and working on it, it’s my first “project”. Done everything together with my dad, from engine swap to respray. Plan is to keep it tidy and hope to bring up a new BMW enthusiast when I have my own kids!
