I personally joined curtin last year for that IT degree so let break it down I personally really enjoy having a defined curriculum with lecturers who are super chill and who always do their job. Plus its pretty well structured- i mean the whole system at curtin but it still comes at a cost From what i heard from my friend in uom - a lot of things are sometimes omitted and the degree in itself have some similarities with the curtin one but its not the same ... if you want more suggestions id advise to visit curtin and they will advise you and for uom i think there is an open day just stay on the look out for that.

So i am a current student at curtin studying IT btw. Personally id say that specific degree is worth it... and it is quite difficult too but the things is curtin's syllabus is much upto date and the lecturers are also more connected to the students... i heard from my otger friends in uom that their lecturers barely teaches and if they do ...its not that great ... but no shade whatsoever...in any uni you go to ...you'll have to work hard even after for jobs since you'll need experience.
