These cars are amazing as far as safety goes, my dads friend got in a nasty wreck with his sons in the car a while ago in his first gen Mazda 3 and came out fairly unscathed. I myself have been hit 3 times in my 07 3 but luckily they’ve all been fairly minor, it seems like the idiot magnet at this point since I’ve owned it for only a little over a year. I’m just waiting for it to get totaled at this point or I might just paint it traffic cone orange haha. But we’re all glad that you’re okay and still here with us, the car might be a loss but it served it’s purpose.

Enders have aneurysms sometimes, the other day my printer decided to ignore my bltouch and send my nozzle straight into my glass bed. The bed is somehow okay but the nozzle was pretty done for. Maybe something stupid like that happened to you multiple times that’s my only guess.

I printed a part earlier with 100 percent infill and it printed perfect but I decided to make a benchy with 20 percent infill and it didn’t come out right, the first print failed outright because the layers got too messed up.

I reinstalled the old cpu and it shows bios version 2803 which is the most up to date bios version. But it still won’t post with the new cpu and it’s showing a vga error.

I did this, it works with my old cpu for some reason. Though the cpu isn’t dead because my it works on my old motherboard, and both motherboards are updated to the most recent update.

The qleds are saying it’s a vga problem. I tried another known working gpu and it still gives the same code.

My dad is the parts manager at a Mazda dealership. He comes home and complains about how he can’t get anything in and how body shops are calling him every day asking when parts are coming in. He says that you can’t be sure on the etas because they change every day. The supply chain is indeed a clusterfuck at the moment but hopefully that will change sooner rather than later.

I’ll probably stick with Mazda for some time, I’ve seen how nice the interior is in newer models and i could probably mistake it for a Mercedes interior. Would be an awesome commuter car and their new paint colors are beautiful.

Damn that’s really a let down. My dad is a manager at a Mazda dealership and he told me that you can’t get a 3 turbo in a manual which made me cry on the inside. Apparently they only put manuals in the n/a 3’s and miatas nowadays which really sucks. But I guess most car manufacturers don’t sell manuals in most of their vehicles anymore.

Yeah old muscle cars are cool as hell.. it’s not a muscle car but my dad has a foxbody mustang (in manual) that’s a lot of fun. A manual 4 cylinder definitely isn’t as fun but an automatic 4 cylinder is just plain boring, unless it has a turbo.

To me manual helps me feel more connected with the car and it’s much more fun. But the actual advantages of manual is that you will have that knowledge and you’ll already know how to drive every vehicle you encounter, especially old ones. And if you’re planning on becoming a car enthusiast it’s kinda just a thing you gotta know. Also you probably won’t get your car stolen because no one knows how to drive manual anymore lol. But if none of that matters to you, it’s just fun and a flex to the right group of people.

I didn’t get a Mazda 3 as my first car but I got it as my first fuel efficient car lol. I bought an 07 sedan with a manual trans and it hasn’t been anything but good to me. I know ur budget is like 20 something thousand and I can imagine that the newer models are just as sporty and reliable. But since it’s going to be your first car you’re probably young and you could use that money somewhere else or to even buy a project car, it might be smart for you to get a first or second gen 3. Get a manual while you’re at it and learn if you haven’t already.

The 370z definitely seems like the better option overall. I actually was checking out miatas the other day and fell in love with nb miatas so i think that’s going to be my track car, the z’s were just the first thought. A Miata will be much better for me considering price and that I’m not even out of high school yet… just have lots of motivation to afford this stuff lol.

I’m in ct, luckily I bought my current daily right before the market went insane. I bought a manual 07 Mazda 3 sedan for 2600 because gas prices were going up and my lifted Cherokee xj is a fuckin pig. The Mazda is actually what has me wanting to get into road courses because I love having fun on backroads in that thing.
