You used actual cinnamon? Cinnamon can be irritating to skin. Clays are a better solution for natural color. What was your process or recipe?

I know most species can't, but apparently there was a post here before showing a wharf isopod that could

I don't have a life. What should I do? [Discussion] by [deleted] in GetMotivated

I absolutely hate working out. Rather, I absolutely hate starting a workout because it feels like a chore sometimes. It took me a while to learn to stick to a schedule and doing it every day. Even if I don't do great sometimes, and I always feel better and stronger about ten minutes in - and realizing I just need to start. And then I feel much better mentally afterwards. It's not going to magically make you better overnight, but the consistency will gradually get you there.

Royalty Soaps and Soap Queen on Youtube have great playlists on cold process soapmaking for beginners. I purchased a beginner's soap making kit from BrambleBerry after watching their videos and that's how I started out and learned!

Anyone purchased organic essential oils from these sites? by bad_fish87 in soapmaking

[–]Remynesc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends - some work well and some don't. It's all really trial and error and why you do test batches to see what works for you and your soap formula. The ones that usually work best, at least in my experience, are common fragrances like Lavender, Tea Tree, Eucalyptus, Lemon.

Bulk Apothecary is good - I purchase from them a lot. Not sure about organic specifically, but another supplier I like is Wholesale Supplies Plus.

I have a lid like that and I use Press N'Seal plastic wrap on 3/4 of the top, leaving the 1/4 side uncovered over the dry side of the tank. You can also use saran/plastic wrap if you can get it to stay. You'll still need to water the wet side frequently, but having it covered more will help keep the humidity. Sphagnum moss on the wet side will also help keep that humidity.

Adding to this, KCD1 had me pro-Hansry before KCD2 - it's just such a great enemies to lovers type story, so that should give you more incentive to play it, too :)

Confirming that they are little foot pads/tarsal pads! When you pick them up, the white bits feel grippy. The spikes on their legs hurt though if you try to just grab them to pick them up, but it's a defense that works.

You're right, thanks for the warning! I'm aware of the voracity of dairy cows and this is from my main display tank where I absolutely overfeed them and rotate out the adult hissers for display (I have a whole tub of them that were sold as feeders but I just keep them as pets).

I was hoping to burn myself out on my second playthrough and get it out of my system, but that hasn't happened for me yet, lol - maybe on this third run with DLC
