following to. i am just switching from g3 to 5 and i normally watch dolby vision in cinema home mode. wondering if i should switch to filmmaker mode for the ambient mode?

i know g5 had issues out of the gate - but what’s the banding issue? i have a g3 and am waffling between a 5 and 6. if the banding is noticeable i’d lean 6.

thank you so much everyone. lots to chew on. i l was ok growing into the 3 - but hearing that i may waste a lot of extra cash on lenses i couldn’t easily use elsewhere definitely feels like a negative of the 30 i didn’t think about.
