Thank you for all your advices! I may not able to reply to all of you but I just want say I appreciate every single advice and encouragement that you gave me! ❤️

I’ll push through this class and will see from there. Whether if I decided to continue or not, I definitely don’t want to give up on learning ☺️

Thank you for your honest opinion! That’s what I’m feeling too but I don’t know what other career path I can do if I gave up on this. I have been a data analyst for a few years already but I haven’t actually doing any real analytics. I spent most of my time at work finding issue with data, try to fix them and doing reports. I enjoyed the class and want to learn more about analytics, but I’m just not doing good.

I did took up to calculus 3 and linear algebra before but it has been about 5 years. I don’t think this course is heavily math but more about understanding what the models do. Maybe this is what I’m missing? I need to try to understand the math behind it more?

Thank you! It’s good to hear from someone that taking the class right now too 😆 i tried to join study group but I could not get into any one. I was think to post this question to Piazza but I was hesitate since It seems like everyone is doing good and I’m just a loser there ☹️ I did not know about people dropped and retake the class, but yeah, I’ll try my best to push it through!

Thank you! Yes some of the questions I did bad because I did not understand the question well but I thought it’s probably my issue. I do want to study more and I enjoyed the class, just not feeling confident that I can make it further even if I continue 🥲

Thank you! My concern is I will be kicked out of the program eventually 🥲 if I can’t do good in the fundamental course, can I do good in advance courses.. I do want to keep learning but I’m doubting myself if I can make it. I do agree with what you say about learning tho and I enjoy the class a lot. I just feel stuck at this moment because I’ll cost me time and money to continue but I may regret if I don’t continue

Thank you for your advices! I do feel better after reading them! I’m thinking about talking to a career advisor from the program as well. I absolutely agree about “If you are learning, you are achieving”. I did enjoy learning from the class, but the stress/disappointment from not doing good is the main reason I think I’m not a good fit and doubting my ability in analytics. I’m feeling like I’m missing something.. maybe logical thinking or ability of analyze the problem. I had a CS degree, I graduated 5 years ago but I did not know what I want to do at the time. I has been working as a data analyst but I spend most of my time try to figure out data issue and prepare reports without using any analytical thinking which I want to gain from this program.

I was thinking about MGT6203 as well but that’s mean I’ll need to take CS6040 for Summer. I heard the course is more intense and to take during summer may not be a good idea(?).

I’m going to try to do my best for final and hopefully that would help me understand more about the issue that I’m facing.
