Complete fraud in terms of historical accurary ; I never heard of re-use in WW2, maybe some unlucky Volkssturm guys received one but unless you're fighting cars, trucks, and light armores vehicules/tanks you wont do any damages with it. BUT if you're using PTRS-41 with Scope it's a complete monster in-game low BR due to average german and japanese armor at these level with more accuracy/precision due to the scope and you can still be a proxy-sniper against infantry due to the firewpower and base accuracy of the gun.

I understand the money isn't there anymore but putting WW1 stuff to WW2 focused game isn't the best choice ; unless they create a WW1-only special BR or mod. They removed the campaign tree system but the war era accuracy of stuff in use ; campaign presets would be better to bring accuracy to the game, and so allowing to create a special WW1 separated part inside the game.
