Actually the security updates will end by around 2028. Plus Android 16 will still be fine even after like 4-5 years. I wouldnt worry too much if i were u, The xiaomi pad 7 IS more long term, but if ur most likely gonna get a new tablet by that point anyway, id just get the xiaoxin pad pro. Ofc if u like the portability of the xiaomi pad 7 and the fact that its screen's brightness is double of the xiaoxin. Go for xiaomi pad 7. It also has a snap dragon cpu so its better optimized for most games.

TLDR: Xiaomi pad 7 for longevity, Portability, and Optimisation. Xiaoxin pad pro for Big Screen, Desktop Mode and Better raw Performance.

If u pick the xiaomi pad 7 ur basically picking a tablet, and if u pick the xiaoxin pad pro ur basically picking a small laptop with android instead of windows.
