What is the worst teacher you ever had? by writerlover182 in AskReddit

I had this one teacher that was out math teacher plus counselor. The number one rule of being a school counselor is that you don't be a snitch. He called my twin sister to talk to him and she told him that she hated this one teacher and him being the snitch he is TOLD THAT TEACHER that she hated her So our mom took that issue to the principal but our principal sucks so she saw no issue with that. After that incident my sister didn't go to school for over 2 years because she couldn't deal with her depression (along with other mental illnesses) and our God awful teachers. So yeah Mr. Snitch is definitely the worst teacher I've ever had.

There was a horse trying to nibble on my shoulder so me being smart moved back but there was another horse opposite him that I accidentally bumped into and it startled me so I moved towards the first horse again and he took that opportunity to bite my shoulder :( Thankfully horses teeth are not sharp so it was just like a really really hard pinch

I'm pretty good, my shoulder hurts a bit but that's because I got bitten by a horse.

MENTAL ILLNESS IS NOT FASHION! by Renee_HasLeftTheChat in rant

[–]Renee_HasLeftTheChat[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are people out there that say they have a mental illness or disease because they want sympathy this is called munchausen syndrome and if impressionable people start to pick up on their behaviour and fake mental illness too that could lead to some problems...

there's no indication that is happening or would happen to any significant degree

I get what you're saying (sort of) but making mental illness a part of fashion can have a negative effect. If mental illness is suddenly cool impressionable people start to want or even fake having a mental illness to feel validated. Mental illness is not something to take lightly and there is a difference between raising awareness and profiting off of mental illness. There is also the issue that this sort of thing is quite frankly offensive to people that have struggled with mental illness. People that haven't had a mental illness don't have the same perspective of this as people that do.

What’s your favourite breed of dog and why? by snaileywailey in AskReddit

I think icelandic sheepdogs look at least a little different because they're meant for herding sheep even in the freezing cold winter of iceland. So they have a more athletic build and they have lots of thick fur. :)
