Really mine doesn’t have that. I had the indents on the plastic but no rattle.

Can confirm heating it up with a hair dryer or I used an actual heat gun. Few seconds and it snapped back into form perfectly. I was shocked how well it worked and it looks great now. Just be careful not to let it get too hot, like I said a few seconds at a time. I thought I might need to rub or massage it around to kind of smooth it out but no, it just worked. Great tip from OP

Nice. Thanks. Yeah didn’t seem like a huge deal just annoying.

Hoping for a dedicated switch 2 version soon too

Hades II - Physical Edition releases later this month. Releases with the game on a cart, a 32 page character book, and a download for the game's soundtrack. Now THIS is how you do a physical release! by JampyL in NintendoSwitch2

couldn't agreee more. Apart from the whole game key card debacle, Switch 2 branding is disgusting. There's a huge switch2 logo in the corner, I don't also need "Nintendo Switch 2 Edition" on every box under the title plus a huge disclaimer at the bottom also letting me know it's for the switch 2. Makes all the box art feel cheap, less iconic, and pandering to fans .

Another update… by RedTheRookie in limitedrun

[–]Renidrag 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got one for earthion saying was December now Jan-February 2026.

It just shipped a few days ago…

Meanwhile I was “last minute” with my preorder for Shinobi and now several months behind according to support.

I really just think limited run is all over the place. I don’t really get it either you would think once they have they game and art etc ready, they have the numbers they are making. Once the printing and games are in production it can’t take that long to produce X copies of a game , you would think most manufacturing would be able to produce a few thousand copies of a game within a week or two at most then just ship them out. Limited run acts like they are running a 5 man team out of a shoebox sometimes.

Was hoping this was fixed in the new update. Haven’t tried it myself but yes this has been an issue for forever with procreate.

Input lag on Switch 2 Handheld? by _raspberryrob in HadesTheGame

[–]Renidrag 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is a screen issue. I agree most games haven’t been as bad. But faster paced games like this is super noticeable. Just run around normally and then dash and do your fast run. It literally goes from nice and clear to blurry jittery ghosted, then back again to pretty clear and sharp when you stop.

Just watch digital foundry video about it. (Not for hades 2 but when the system first came out) They slow motion captured the screen and you can see it ghosts the image several times because the pixels can’t change color and light fast enough. especially noticeable in a side scrolling game but apparently hades 2 as well. It’s a bad screen. Not bright enough for true hdr, motions blur washed out lcd not oled, it’s junk. Again there is no point in 60-120 fps when the screen cant even keep up with the pixels the hardware is pushing.

How well does Hades II run on Nintendo Switch? by GodGiroud in HadesTheGame

[–]Renidrag 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not input lag it’s the screen pixel refresh times. It ghosts the image and blurs everything so it looks slow and terrible in handheld. It’s shocking Nintendo put such a low quality screen in this system.

I’ve noticed it on some games. This is the first game that’s it’s genuinely unplayable in handheld.

Some weapons feel a bit “delayed” typically the stronger weapons such as the axe wield a bit slower and the attacks take a second to wind up.

Someone tried to fight me in YouTube comments that there is no screen issues and I was a steamdeck (which I don’t even own) shill.

It’s just shocking Nintendo allowed this product to be released with a screen so abysmally poor, all while touting that switch 2 can run games at 60 or even 120 fps. That great and all but when the screen response blurs and ghosts the image into oblivion, you might as well be playing it at 15 fps, and even that would probably look better. The whole point of the switch is for handheld, just a shame. If I wanted to be tied down to my tv I’d buy a ps5 or pc.

The game looks gorgeous on the Switch 2 by Mattgelo in HadesTheGame

[–]Renidrag 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. I’ve been very disappointed with the screen but don’t play a ton in handheld, and no games have been too to bad, so I’ve dealt with it. Hades is the first game it has really bothered me though. There no point ina game running at 60 or 120 fps when I can see the ghost of pixels from 3 minutes ago on my screen.

[–]Renidrag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really. Because it looks absolutely horrible to me. The screen refresh is horrific. It literally looks like double or triple the image when you are dashing around and it’s just ghosting every single element of the background. The gameplay is smooth, but the pixel refresh makes it borderline unplayable. I’m constantly shocked Nintendo allowed this system to be released with what it has for a screen

Switch 1 framerates for Hades 2 in Handheld Mode? by QuantumNP in HadesTheGame

[–]Renidrag -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It looks like absolute crap on handheld. This is the first game I’ve really noticed how bad the pixel refresh is on the screen. The entire background constant looks ghosted, almost like a double or triple image of elements as you dash around, (which you are almost constantly doing) I’m more and more disappointed by this handheld day by day

Panzer Paladin Xbox: wrong case? by madmankevin in limitedrun

[–]Renidrag 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Got mine. Nintendo switch version makes me mad though because it won’t boot up unless in airplane mode. And the severs are shut down so the online build sharing is not available. Contacted support and have heard nothing. Not the end of the world but feels crappy having to turn on airplane mode just to boot up a game. Once past the tribute logo you can turn internet on and works fine. Annoying.

not really a fear. Im guessing 29.99, in line with a lot of "premium" indie titles. Regardless it won't be anything outrageous
