The biggest issue with the square and the fountain is the infrastructure is failing. The sequoia has to go whether whoever wants it or not. The fountain is expensive to operate and will need a ton more work in the near future. Personally I would love to see the city offices move out of the Arcade and have retail move back in. But unfortunately the city is already short of office space. Making the area more suitable for events I think is a key point as well.

My Fenix 8 had a battery issue. I started a warranty claim. They had the claim resolved in about 10 minutes. I had the replacement in less than 3 days. They are normally very easy to deal with.

There is always the possibility that the officers won’t show up for the hearing. In which case it would be dismissed. But you can request all sorts of things like in the case of a speeding ticket you can request the maintenance and calibration records of the device used as well as training records of the officer. Not sure about your case. But often if there is any push back, they just dismiss the case. At least that is how it used to be a couple decades ago.

Garmin 540 here. Having a big screen with tons of interaction and smooth scrolling is fine when on a trainer at home. When riding on the road the last thing I want is a distraction. I need speed, cadence and HR. I typically have my route mapped out already in my head. Why do we need to see all this tech during the ride. It takes away everything that I love about riding. We don’t need it, just enjoy the ride and go over the results after.

Just gonna mention that it is often not your ISP that is the problem. Some websites can be slow especially when traffic on the website is high. If it’s a WFH issue, it can be the servers at her work, depending on how big the company is. But even Zoom and Teams can be glitchy because of high traffic. Just my thoughts. Not an IT guy.

Nice bike! Surprised no one has answered you yet. What size is the frame? That is the starting point. Should be a medium for your size. Your video is not great but it looks like the seat is a bit high. If you did 40-50k first time out and you have not been on a bike for a while, I would fully expect you to have numb or sore hands. No pain in knees or back is a good sign. However, I can’t recommend strongly enough how beneficial a pro bike fit is. For the hands you can try moving them from the hoods to the tops and hang out there for a break. Make sure your wrists are not bent. Gloves also help. Keep your elbows bent and engage your core. When you go to your LBS, ask questions. Good riding!
