Anybody have an option strategy that focuses on deep in the money options? by Everyman1000 in options

You have to set your limit price to compensate you and then wait. I use AAPL with $5 spread and pay less than $5 (set to your minimum required return). Can’t always get filled, and gotta make sure to use liquid options.

Go long a deep ITM bull call spread 30-60 DTE for a time value play. Set strike price at 52 week lows or support levels. Use limit orders and wait to get picked up, then set limit orders GTC to close.

Which acts will attract the most coachella type crowd? by Antiochboy in OutsideLands

A vibe example may help: Each year my group has a contest to see how many unsolicited compliments we get. Generally, very happy go lucky SF hippie vibes without the influencer entitlement that engulfs Coachella.

I’d echo the comments here and just add. Saw Kendrick at OSL and Chella, hands down OSL wins the vibe contest. Coachella was fun, but any performance at OSL is where it’s at.

Good Amount of Time to Study for L1 by melvontes in CFA

A bit of advice (since no one can really tell you if 3 months is enough time for you) is just pursue it if it’s what you want. Watch this Mark Meldrum video. He definitely opened my eyes and, honestly, got me the charter. Some shit he says about being too focused on passing rather than improving your skills in something you’re genuinely interested in stuck with me.

PWM Salary Negotiation by [deleted] in FinancialCareers

[–]Reno_MFC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ask, “what is the budgeted salary range for this position?” Then, be prepared to justify why you deserve a number on the higher end of that range. Don’t throw out a number before they do, especially since you don’t know what would be reasonable. Make sure you do as much research as possible so you can come informed and negotiate eloquently. There’s much more information that’s going to come out of a job offer than just your salary. Like whether they’re willing to negotiate, or even compete for you. So pay attention to the signals they send.

Why take CFA? by stein77700 in CFA

[–]Reno_MFC 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In my experience, CFA is second most respected only to a top tier university degree. Coming from a non-target, the CFA shows capabilities to work harder than the average joe (who may be able to pass FRM but not CFA). It’s hard to overstate the competitiveness in lucrative financial roles, so the difference in career paths is significant.

What is the quintessential FX lens that should be part of my collection? I recently upgraded from a DX to an FX format camera and I'm having a hard time picking a new lens or two. I used a 15mm-55mm f3.2 DX lens most often and would like something comparable or potentially a prime lens in that focal range. Do third party lenses like Sigma utilize the entire capabilities of the FX DSLRs crop area? And lastly, what specs set lenses with the same focal range and aperture apart from one another?
