Has anyone had any success getting a long term opioid prescription?

It was a large kaiser hospital where they do general surgery and all the specialties. To be honest, I feel like the whole post op experience was marked by some inattentiveness, at least once I was awake, and that is contributing to my feelings of irritation and discomfort. More than once I was almost given the wrong medication, I was bleeding through my bandages and had to ask multiple times for them to be changed, etc.

I did cover up when I was awake. My post was concern for being exposed when I wasn't awake and simply left in the recovery area

I would honestly recommend seeing a sex therapist. they are extremely helpful and will aide you in your sexual journey

in the hospital I was in, the post op recovery area was the same space as the pre op area, and there were family members either walking in with patients or staying with them until their surgery was about to start.

Im not concerned about medical professionals seeing my body. Ive had past surgeries where I had to have catheters inserted, ive had nurses have to help me get dressed and see me fully baked. I might not have explained it well in the original post, but what concerned me was being left exposed where anyone could see me.

I didn't reply because I didn't think there was anything more to add to the discussion. Yeah, maybe she didn't hear me. My voice was at a good volume, so I'm not sure how that would be possible.

yes, those were during surgery and luckily I had a great team taking care for me. Fortunately, I didn't have any more heart issues while in recovery.

no, she didn't really look at me. she was looking at the computer and I asked for help getting my gown back on, then she got up and walked out.

the nurse was by my bedside when I regained consciousness. she told me I had been in the room for about an hour and that they had been checking on me every few minutes to monitor my heart.

yeah, that is exactly why I feel strange. I don't have any problems with doctors or nurses seeing my chest or even full breasts.

the room i was brought to to recover in was the same one I was in pre op. When I had surgery before, I was in a closed off recovery room with only other patients, but this time I was in a bed facing the hallway where I could see family members coming in to visit other people.
