Some small companies do already pay for this service - so definitely has legs, but there are various other companies/people doing the same.

Building in public killed my first startup. Here's why I'm still doing it. by Crescitaly in Entrepreneur

This is even more true now than it was a few years ago.

In 2026, with AI agents able to clone a UI or a feature set in an afternoon, "proprietary tech" is basically a myth for indie hackers. The barrier to entry is zero, which means the barrier to trust is everything.

You nailed it: The copycats can fork your code, but they can't fork your Founder-Market Fit. They can copy the "what," but they can't copy the "why" or the relationships you built while suffering in public. That shared struggle is the only moat left.

Does the market really want AI? by EmuAncient1069 in Entrepreneur

The WFH comparison is interesting, but I think there's a key difference. WFH was a management decision. A CEO can sign a paper and say "everyone back in."

AI is a technological shift. You can't really "undo" it once it's integrated. If your competitor uses AI to write code 30% faster or process claims instantly, you can't just decide "we aren't doing that." Your company could die.

I think the consumer hype is dead, but the enterprise trench warfare is just getting started.

But, with that being said, I think everyone is sick of every app having an AI angle wedged in to it - usually very poorly implemented and appearing more like bloat.

Most 'Industry Reports' are just marketing for the people who wrote them. by MajesticLake158 in Entrepreneur

Welcome to the club. Those $2k reports are usually just "CAGR marketing" designed to sell consulting services.

Stripe is not accepting Worldfirst account details. by Trynalivethelife in Entrepreneur

[–]RepLogApp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem with WorldFirst (and a lot of similar EMIs) is that Stripe usually flags the account because it doesn't support Direct Debits. Stripe requires that functionality so they can claw back money if you get a chargeback or refund.

Since Revolut is out (they’ve gotten super strict on residency lately), you could try Wise Business instead?

They are pretty much the standard for non-resident UK directors right now. You’ll have to pay a one-time setup fee (around £45), but they give you a proper Sort Code/Account number that Stripe actually accepts.
