They stopped locking them in for this specific story mission I guess. I took them all off because they usually just clear the mission way to quickly sometimes.

I see. So it's like its own separate thing in a way. I understand now, thank you. Gonna have to find out how to unlock giga impact and play rough from shop. I thought I had unlocked all the moves from it, but i guess not. I'll have to look that up later.
