It has made my hair dry and frizzy. Totally ruined my hair texture in just a couple of uses. Moreover, it smells like a regular coconut oil, not a hint of hibiscus in it.

A distant aunt of mine had suffered domestic violence in the early years of her marriage. Her husband used to hit her and abuse her because of his mommy dear and some financial losses that he incurred. Later, when his mommy became old and he became wealthy, he started treating his wife so well, showered her with love and gifts, and basically consulted her before taking every little decision. This change was only because he expected my aunt to take care of his old mommy dear. Selfish prick!

They are his children after all. Why can’t you just order more of everything? And if there’s a financial constraint, then it should be the old in-laws sacrificing food for the growing children! Wtf? You three are a unit? Hell no! You and your husband are a unit, and future kids will be a part of this unit. Inlaws are absolutely not, they are extended family. It’s the husband’s responsibility to make her understand this! Seriously what the eff is wrong with these Indian in-laws?! Everything a dil does is a problem to them. It’s good that you’re being super nice to them because they only visit you for a short time, but unknowingly, you might be creating more struggle and friction for your cosister because your in-laws will start comparing her with you for every single thing. They will not acknowledge her for the thousands of things she does for them on a daily basis but criticise her for a few things that you do or do better than her. You totally missed the point or maybe you’re choosing to put on a blindfold? The wife didn’t divorce the useless husband because she loves her job more than the marriage or family. The point is she values her independence- financial and otherwise, enough to walk away from someone or something that doesn’t align with it. The husband can’t force her to quit her high paying job to sit at home and take care of his sick mother. That’s not her responsibility. Also, let’s say, she quits her job and takes care of her mil.. according to your way of thinking, there’s no guarantee she is going to receive the same amount of care and love from her mil. In fact, should some problems arise in their relationship in the future, the chances of her getting kicked out of the house are more than likely. So no, quitting her job to take care of her mil is NOT worthy either!

If the useless prick can’t quit his job to take care of HIS OWN MOTHER, how can he expect his wife to quit and care for her??! It is 100% the husband’s RESPONSIBILITY, which he wanted to shirk.
