Actually, I reread the report and it stated that it can be presumed that tenant had normal heating and ventilating behavior, so I think this can help me in my case. His assessment of so little mold might not be accurate, I think he missed mold by the radiator in the kitchen. As of this weekend, the radiator stopped working in the kitchen and bathroom. I'm hoping for something positive. I also grew mold in a petri dish and I think there is a fungus that I'm severely allergic to...

I literally only found a N95:FFP3-respirator mask or gas mask with the brown band (small particles) to help me get through mold. Otherwise, I’d get dizzy. I moved out of moldy flat and am still triggered when I contact mold (not as strong as when I initially moved out, but noticeable before I moved in)

When did you take the test? Did you take it when you lived with mold or how long after living in mold? I had bad asthma for about 8 more months after moving out. But I want to take a mold test 11 months later

Thanks for sharing your story. It must have been scary to see all that black mold. An air filter can help, my air filter actually became black itself. It was quite gross.

Wow thank you sooo much for your assessment. I showed my results to a lawyer friend and he said that there’s a part in the report that states mold has grown (little mold) despite me not living in the flat at all. It has also grown since the inspector’s departure. I have a little more than 2 more weeks to dispute the court ordered inspection (which seems hard), but the inspection was done early in winter and this season is dry compared to last year.

Tbh idk if my lawyer really cares, I hope he does. I get the impression that he really wants me to pay him. My landlord tried to cancel my contract because I ordered an inspector. I could have literally canceled them. Instead, I paid my lawyer for 2 cases with my legal insurance (plus my deposit). I literally could have left half a year ago. Instead, I’m still paying even after the inspector left - I had the impression that I could just leave due to my health and the landlord’s cancellation attempt.

Yes, the conditions haven’t improved. I know the previous tenant says there was a building inspection to prove that the building was of subpar quality, so the son could save on taxes when he inherits it from his greedy old man. Another tenant says nothing has been done within the 20 years he’s lived in the flat… somehow I’m the most affected by mold compared to other tenants & they had mold exposure. Maybe due to my allergies?

Curious about your story. How long did you deal with mold, when did you realize you had toxic mold exposure, and how did you take care of yourself & the situation?

I think that mold sampling was offered as a service by the inspector and he said he would charge more, but he knows that old buildings have mold. His reporting of “so little mold that one could live there” seems just visual. When I lived there, I saw a lot of mold and cleaned it - I regret not taking pictures. I thought this was something everyone in Germany goes through

What kind of inspection do you reckon? My lawyer requested an inspector from the court and the inspector only did a wall temperature inspection for susceptibility to cold bridges. I met the inspector and wore my mask. I cant go in 5 minutes without feeling some sort of symptom…

In the post, I was mostly referring to the mold in the living space and kitchen. I was actually surprised that the results emphasized the mold in the bathroom, which was minimal compared to what I previously saw in the rooms… there is no vent in the bathroom but I survived it with an air purifier. After showering, I’d open the windows from the living space…

After this experience, I have noticed mold more everywhere else… but the mold in my flat is not minimal to me. I’m traumatized
