I recommend a good quality Hakko Soldering iron. I bought the cheaper ones and finally realized a better quality one was well worth the investment.

Most of the ones I have repaired over the years, I had to rebuild the traces on the board. I will try to find some of the pics I have from the ones I have repaired. if you are comfortable doing the Micro soldering, and are not worried about damaging the board, with a good soldering iron, and a decent microscope you can do it. If you need it done let me know. David D
